7th MIAL AMSA Sulphur Roundtable - Register for this event
Meeting the Low Sulphur Fuel Challenge
Marine fuel consumption in 2012 was around 300 million tonnes. The global sulphur cap of 0.5% - to be introduced in 2020 - will have a signficant impact on the fuel mix and is likely, at least in the short to medium term, to increase the cost of marine fuel, thereby increasing the cost of shipping.
The 7th MIAL/AMSA Sulphur Roundtable provides an opportunity for all stakeholders to discuss challenges their businesses face in the lead up to 1 January 2020, as well as assisting AMSA in the development of an appropriate Australian position to take to IMO in relation to these important implementation issues.
Details of Roundtable:
Date: July 10th
Time: 9am (for lunch) - 4.30pm
Registration is FREE
